Our steel building construction company needs competent skilled workers to staff multiple upcoming projects. We're looking for responsible construction workers with experience in the construction industry. Experience with steel erection is a plus. Must be able to work well with others and have good interpersonal skills. Valid drivers license preferred. Must have dependable mode of transportation to and from job, and a cell phone. Duties:
- Erect and assemble metal building frameworks according to blueprints.
- Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely to facilitate construction activities.
- Read and interpret blueprints, and construction plans accurately.
- Perform framing, siding installation, roofing, and trim tasks as needed.
- Handle heavy lifting tasks with proper technique and equipment to maintain safety standards.
- Execute metal stud framing and siding installation for building exteriors..
- Maintain a clean and organized work site while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in metal building erection, or related construction fields.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools and heavy machinery operation.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with confidence.
- Strong knowledge of construction principles and site safety procedures.
- Experience with masonry work including bricklaying or stucco application is a plus.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, working at heights, and long hours on-site.
- Familiarity with framing,metal stud framing and roofing techniques.
- Excellent teamwork skills combined with the ability to work independently when required.
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
