Job Summary
We are seeking a senior Merchant Cash Advance (MCA) Underwriter specifically with experience in the high risk funding space to join our team. We have plenty of available capital and submission volume. You will have a great deal of autonomy to make your own credit decisions, report directly to the owner, and syndication opportunities are available. We offer paid time off and relocation assistance.
Duties
- Use of Salesforce as a platform for managing deal flow
- Conduct pricing on high-risk MCA loan applications by reviewing bank statements and applications.
- Utilize underwriting concepts to assess cash flow stability, repayment capacity, and collectability of merchants.
- Engage in negotiation with brokers and clients to clarify terms, address concerns, and facilitate mutually beneficial agreements.
- Make credit decisions to safeguard and grow the portfolio.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an MCA underwriter on a well known platform with a focus on high-risk high risk funding environments.
- Proven track record of funding, collecting, and managing high risk MCA deals.
- Strong knowledge of the MCA industry, deal flow management, and risk assessment methodologies.
- Familiarity with fraud detection techniques, origination processes, and collections / legal related concepts.
- Demonstrated ability to perform portfolio management strategies effectively.
- Strong mathematical aptitude combined with excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking skills.

Pay: $105,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
