Duties
- Greet guests with enthusiasm and professionalism as they arrive, ensuring they feel welcomed and appreciated
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS systems such as Toast POS or Micros POS
- Maintain a clean and organized host stand, ready to assist guests promptly
- Answer incoming phone calls with courteous phone etiquette, providing information and taking reservations as needed
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to optimize seating flow and minimize wait times
- Assist guests with special requests or accommodations to enhance their dining experience
- Support guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns quickly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times
- Must be able to stand for 8 hour shift
- Must be available nights and weekends
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred
- Strong communication skills with an energetic, friendly demeanor
- Experience with restaurant POS systems such as Toast POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Knowledge of hospitality standards, guest services, and restaurant operations
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Previous hotel or guest services experience is advantageous but not required
- May work in restaurant or bar environment
