Service Advisor / Service Development Representative
Honda of North Carolina Powerhouse | Granite Falls, NC
At Honda of North Carolina Powerhouse, we take pride in being one of the region's premier powersports dealerships — and the Service Advisor is at the heart of what makes that reputation possible. We're looking for a sharp, customer-first professional who thrives in a fast-paced shop environment, communicates clearly, and takes ownership of the customer experience from check-in to pickup.
What You'll Do
You'll be the primary bridge between our customers and the service department — managing appointments, building repair orders, relaying updates, and making sure every interaction leaves a customer wanting to come back.
- Greet customers promptly and create a professional first impression
- Schedule service appointments and manage incoming inquiries
- Write and maintain accurate repair orders
- Keep customers informed on service recommendations, repair progress, and completion
- Coordinate with technicians, parts, and management to keep work moving
- Follow up post-service to reinforce retention and future maintenance
- Conduct routine outreach to the full dealership customer base — proactive calls, check-ins, and reminders that keep Honda of NC Powerhouse top of mind
- Maintain consistent, ongoing communication with potential guests and clients — building relationships before they ever need a repair
- Develop deep, long-term customer relationships that bind people to our dealership and turn first-time buyers into lifelong advocates
- Strengthen and protect our dealership's reputation through every interaction, whether in person, over the phone, or by message
- Resolve concerns professionally and with a focus on satisfaction
- Maintain accurate customer records and service histories
What We're Looking For
- Prior experience as a Service Advisor, Service Writer, or Service Coordinator in the automotive, powersports, marine, RV, or motorcycle industry — required
- A natural relationship-builder who stays in touch, follows through, and earns customer trust over time
- Strong communicator with excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Computer proficient; ability to learn dealership management software quickly
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and a team-first mindset
- Able to work efficiently under pressure without sacrificing attention to detail
Schedule & Requirements
- Tuesday through Saturday, daytime shifts
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Reliable, punctual, and professional with both customers and coworkers
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly base pay plus commission incentives
- Earnings tied to individual performance, customer satisfaction scores, and department growth
- Employee discounts on products, parts, accessories, and service
- Health insurance for eligible employees
- Paid vacation and personal time
- Real advancement opportunities within a growing dealership
- Ongoing training and manufacturer-supported professional development
