- Prepare surfaces by sanding, patching, priming, sealing, and repairing imperfections
- Apply paint, stain, varnish, lacquer, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
- Use brushes, rollers, and spray equipment to achieve professional-quality results
- Perform touch-ups and maintain painted surfaces throughout the property
- Ensure consistent, clean, and high-quality finishes on every project
- Repair drywall, plaster, and other wall finishes
- Fill cracks, holes, and damaged areas before painting
- Remove old paint using appropriate tools and techniques
- Assist with minor carpentry and maintenance projects related to painting work
- Help maintain the overall appearance and integrity of Club facilities
- General Maintenance
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Properly store and dispose of paints, chemicals, and materials
- Collaborate with the Engineering and Maintenance teams on renovation and improvement projects
- Complete assigned projects efficiently with minimal supervision
- Follow all OSHA guidelines and safety procedures when handling tools, equipment, and hazardous materials
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
- Maintain safe work practices to protect members, guests, and fellow employees
- Support emergency response efforts as needed
- Promote a positive and professional work environment
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and other departments
- Assist with training and mentoring new team members
- Demonstrate flexibility by supporting additional maintenance tasks as assigned
- High School diploma or GED required
- Four years of commercial or institutional painting experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and finishing materials
- Experience with drywall repair, wood staining, and refinishing preferred
- Basic carpentry skills are a plus
- Understanding of OSHA safety standards and proper chemical handling
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and repetitive motion
- Regular lifting up to 30 lbs, frequent lifting up to 50 lbs, and occasional lifting up to 100 lbs
- Work indoors with occasional outdoor projects in varying weather conditions
- Exposure to paints, fumes, chemicals, construction materials, noise, and varying temperatures
- Flexible schedule, including occasional evenings or weekends for special projects
