Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Repair and maintain various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components.
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and brake repairs to ensure safety and performance standards are met.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to execute repairs efficiently and safely.
- Work with heavy equipment mechanics when servicing large or specialized vehicles requiring ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration or air brake system repairs.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical systems and mechanical failures.
- Deliver excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and providing professional advice on vehicle maintenance needs.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with dealership experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including diesel engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and automotive electrical systems.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics software and schematics for accurate troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools.
- Ability to perform detailed repairs such as ADAS calibration, oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, shocks & struts replacement, and powertrain work.
- Knowledge of GM vehicles or similar brands is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a customer-focused attitude to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Valid certification or licensing relevant to automotive repair is preferred; ongoing training in diesel mechanics or heavy equipment mechanics is a plus.

Pay: $27.30 - $32.88 per hour
