Asphalt & Fuel Supply is looking for an asphalt terminal operator to help ensure our product is the highest quality.
As a member of the AFS team, you will assist with truck, rail car and tank loading and unloading; tank, pipeline, storage and equipment monitoring and maintenance; and in ensuring and documenting product movement and quality.
Qualified candidates will:
- Load and unload trucks and rail cars into and out of tanks
- Transfer product between tanks as needed
- Help maintain and document inventory
- Clean and maintain rail lines, tanks, lines, pumps and associated equipment and tools
- May utilize earth movers, mowers, powered lifts and other equipment
- Help maintain a safe, productive work environment
- Listen and communicate effectively with management and production staff
- Adhere to the company core values
- Demonstrate problem solving and analytical skills
- Possess basic math and computer skills
- Be able and willing to work safely inside and outside in all conditions
- Be able to work with tanks, pumps, boilers, valves, hand tools, mixers
- Be able and willing to work a flexible schedule as business needs dictate
- Be able to speak, read and communicate in English
