Key responsibilities & Requirements
- Develop and optimize CNC programs for 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis machining centers
- Program complex aerospace and defense components ranging from approximately 10 inches to 10 feet in length
- Create efficient machining strategies for both prototype and production work
- Select tooling, workholding, cutting strategies, and machining parameters appropriate for material and geometry
- Support setup machinists and operators during prove-out and first article runs
