Guest Services Agent / Shuttle Driver
Hourly Compensation: $13.00
POSITION SUMMARY
The Guest Services Agent / Shuttle Driver is responsible for creating exceptional guest experiences by providing professional transportation services and assisting guests throughout their stay. This position serves as a key ambassador for The Founders Inn & Spa by welcoming guests, responding to requests, transporting guests safely, and ensuring the highest level of customer service at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Knowledge, Training & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of one year of customer service, hospitality, transportation, or related experience preferred.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Must maintain a clean DMV driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) review.
- Ability to read, write, and speak basic English.
- Ability to understand and apply basic mathematical skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong guest service and communication skills.
- Ability to remain professional and courteous in all guest interactions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, stoop, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provide guest services in a highly professional manner, consistently exceeding guest expectations.
- Greet and interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner while creating a memorable "WOW" experience.
- Safely transport guests to and from designated locations, including the airport and oceanfront.
- Assist guests with luggage and transportation needs.
- Ensure all guest requests are handled in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and appearance of shuttle vehicles and guest service areas.
- Inspect transportation vehicles daily and report maintenance concerns promptly.
- Interact with guests, coworkers, and management in a professional and courteous manner.
- Resolve guest concerns and service issues in a positive and professional manner.
- Complete required safety training and comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Report unsafe work conditions, safety concerns, and security violations immediately.
- Participate in training programs, meetings, and special projects as assigned.
- Remain knowledgeable of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
