What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, patients, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities while serving in an armed post.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical calls, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions according to site procedures.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including lobbies, parking areas, corridors, entrances, restricted areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.

Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity by verifying credentials, screening visitors, and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or public emergency responders when needed.

Support a professional presence at the location by communicating clearly with occupants and guests, following post orders, and remaining prepared to address changing conditions across commercial property and healthcare-related environments.
Minimum Requirements:

An armed guard card or license is required.

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
