Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. Duties
- Deliver a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments to meet individual client needs.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand specific concerns and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Utilize your knowledge of physiology and anatomy to identify areas of tension and pain, ensuring safe and effective therapy sessions.
- Educate clients on self-care practices, post-treatment care, and injury prevention strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of each session, including client progress notes and treatment details, adhering to confidentiality standards.
- Communicate clearly with clients about their treatment goals, comfort levels, and any medical considerations or contraindications.
- Ensure a clean, relaxing environment by following proper sanitation protocols and maintaining equipment in excellent condition.
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification.
- Proven experience in massage therapy, including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments.
- Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and pain management techniques.
- Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is required for safety compliance.
- Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with diverse clients.
- Prior experience working in med spas or wellness centers is preferred but not required.
- Ability to assess client needs accurately and adapt treatments accordingly while maintaining professional standards.

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
