We are currently hiring a CDAC or LCASA to join our growing team.
Position Overview
The CDAC/LCASA will provide substance use counseling, facilitate groups, complete clinical documentation, and collaborate with our multidisciplinary team. This role supports SAIOP, individual counseling, MAT‑adjacent services, and DWI‑related programming.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counseling for substance use and co‑occurring needs
- Facilitate SAIOP groups, psychoeducation, and relapse‑prevention sessions
- Conduct intakes, assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EHR
- Participate in clinical supervision (for LCASA)
- Coordinate care with MAT providers, therapists, and community partners
- Support DWI assessments, DWI Group, and compliance tracking
- Uphold HIPAA, NC DHHS, and Medicaid documentation standards
Qualifications
- Active CDAC or LCASA credential through NCSAPPB
- Experience in SAIOP, outpatient counseling, or substance use treatment preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with ASAM criteria and evidence‑based practices (MI, CBT, relapse prevention)
