Cheyenne Medical Lodge is seeking an administrative leader for our aide department. This position manages the daily organization, scheduling, and logistical workflow of our floor team. You will serve as the core link between clinical management and direct care staff. Qualified candidates can access same-day interviews at our Mesquite facility.
Pay, Schedule & Benefits
- Pay: $20/hour. Base rate depends upon experience.
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. This role handles weekday CNA staffing calls. As part of the facility leadership team, availability for nights, weekends, and holidays is required based on building needs.

Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and publish the monthly CNA shift schedules while tracking attendance patterns and managing daily call-outs.
- Coordinate real-time floor coverage to ensure facility compliance with state staffing ratios and resident care plans.
- Direct the onboarding process, practical floor orientation, and initial competency evaluations for all newly hired nursing assistants.
- Conduct clinical floor audits to verify the completion and accuracy of activities of daily living (ADL) documentation and point-of-care charting.
- Oversee the inventory tracking, ordering, and organized distribution of medical supplies and linens across all care units.
- Act as the primary administrative advocate and liaison between the floor staff and the facility nursing leadership.
- Facilitate daily shift-handoff meetings to communicate critical resident adjustments and specialized assignments to incoming crews.
Qualifications
- Certification: Active Texas Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) registration in good standing.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care environment.
- Leadership: Demonstrated proficiency in supervisory roles, shift management, or staff scheduling.
- Screening: Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check.
- Health Protocols: Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Logistics: Must have reliable transportation to secure dependable attendance for on-call duties.
