Equipment Handler
Get your foot in the door at a premier employer with this entry-level Equipment Handler position! You’ll play an important role in ensuring sterile instruments and equipment are available for use in the operating rooms.
Responsibilities of the Equipment Handler
- Unload instrumentation and cart washers
- Dry and put away items as needed
- Restock and distribute supplies
- Send and receive trash carts
- Clean and disinfect equipment
- Perform decontamination procedures following specifications
- Operate machinery according to instructions
- Perform other tasks as assigned
Qualifications of the Equipment Handler
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good listening and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
