Aya Healthcare has an opportunity for a Central Supply Distribution Technician to support a 13-week contract with a facility in Olympia, OR.
Assignment Details:
- Start: ASAP
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00AM to 3:30PM
- Pay: $22-25/hour
- Type: Contract, Onsite
- Length: 13 weeks
- Onboarding: 1-2 weeks
REQUIREMENTS FOR CENTRAL SUPPLY DISTRIBUTION TECH:
- Education - Completed High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year of Supply Chain/warehouse experience in a hospital or clinic setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Knowledge of inventory management
JOB DUTIES OF CENTRAL SUPPLY DISTRIBUTION TECH:
- Distributes supplies and equipment to all departments of the hospital.
- Inventories and replenishes par and exchange carts.
- Restocks distribution center and surgery supply shelves.
- Performs other related duties in the receiving, surgery supply, and distribution center work areas as required.
- Handles, delivers, and stores all materials and freight received through the Southwest Washington Region (SWR).
- Delivers bulk orders to user departments and outside agencies in accordance with prescribed policies and procedures, including shipping functions of all materials and freight of the hospital.
- Maintains accurate records.
- Manages receipts for all items delivered to and shipped from the hospital.
- Regulates equipment management.
- Maintains overall cleanliness and organization of the receiving and supply work areas and individual unit storage areas.
