Essential Job Functions:

Respond to a wide variety of calls requiring sound judgment, problem-solving skills, and the appropriate use of force

Investigate crimes, tra?c accidents, suspicious circumstances, and other calls for service gathering evidence and documenting information

Direct tra?c and assist motorists

Place individuals under arrest (search, interview, investigate)

Assist investigators in follow-up investigations

Additional Information:
Compensation:2026 wages- This is a non-exempt, union position with the following hourly pay range:
-
$106,163.20 (Step 2) - $129,465.44* (Step 4) annually.
- With participation in the personal growth incentive program
-
Step 4 is achievable after two years of service.
-
Step 5 is achievable after 15 years of service and is $134,230.72 annually.
