Responsibilities
- Teach private and/or group music lessons.
- Develop customized lesson plans based on each student’s goals and abilities.
- Foster a fun, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
- Track student progress and provide regular feedback.
- Prepare students for recitals, performances, competitions, and examinations when applicable.
- Maintain professionalism and punctuality.
- Communicate effectively with parents and adult students.
- Inspire confidence, creativity, and a lifelong appreciation for music.
Qualifications
- Previous music teaching experience preferred.
- Strong proficiency in one or more instruments or voice.
- Formal music education is preferred but not required with equivalent professional experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for teaching students of all ages.
- Reliable, organized, and professional.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends is a plus.
