Job Description
AMS Grounds is a trucking company based in Ypsilanti, MI. We value relationships above all and pride ourselves in having a reputation for delivering exceptional quality services and professionalism. We are looking for experienced roll-off truck drivers to haul roll-offs within a 50 mile radius.
Responsibilities include:
- Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck, hauling gravel, sand, dirt, and millings
- Properly track and document activity log
- Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
- Inspect truck before and after trip
- Safe and skilled maneuverability and backing
Required Qualifications
- Class A CDL
- Experience driving roll-offs,3-7 axle roll-offs, or similar trucks
- Experience driving 13 and 18 speed manual transmissions
- Clean driving record
- Not prohibited in the DOT Clearinghouse
- Previous dump or roll off experience is preferred
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
Work Schedule
- Expected schedule of 50-70 hours/week
- Typically Mon - Fri, 6am - 5pm and alternating Saturdays, but flexibility is required
