Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to a variety of pets, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the grooming process. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and the skills necessary to handle different breeds and temperaments with care and professionalism.
CAT GROOMER would be highly desired but not required!
Responsibilities
- Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for dogs
- Assess the condition of each pet's coat and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques.
- Handle pets safely and effectively, using proper animal restraint techniques to ensure their comfort.
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Communicate with pet owners regarding their pets' needs, behavior, and any concerns observed during grooming.
Experience
- Prior experience in pet grooming is MANDATORY
- Skills in animal care, dog handling, and animal restraint are highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with pet owners and provide excellent customer service.
Our salon will be relocating in Marshalltown and upgrading (Yay!)
