Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across designated routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, adherence to traffic regulations, and the ability to handle various types of freight.
Duties
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that may occur on the road.
- Follow designated routes while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
- Manage time efficiently to meet delivery deadlines while ensuring the safety of the vehicle and cargo.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21
- At least two years experience driving heavy duty trucks.
- A clean driving record.
- CDL A is Required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
