Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Seamstress specializing in Draperies to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality window treatments that meet precise specifications and aesthetic standards.
Duties
- Cut fabric manually with precision, ensuring accurate dimensions according to design specifications
- Operate sewing machines efficiently to assemble drapery components, maintaining consistent stitch quality
- Construct seamless, durable seams following established seam construction techniques and quality standards
- Measure fabric and finished products accurately to ensure proper fit and alignment of all components
- Inspect finished draperies for quality assurance, verifying adherence to design, measurements, and durability requirements
Skills
- Strong knowledge of quality standards in production and garment sewing techniques
- Proficiency in seam construction and garment assembly processes specific to draperies
- Skilled in operating various sewing machines with attention to detail and safety procedures
- Experience handling different fabrics and materials used in drapery manufacturing
- Ability to manually cut fabric accurately using cutting tools and templates
