Development Coordinator
The Development Coordinator supports Mandy's Farm's fundraising efforts by coordinating events, managing volunteers, maintaining donor relationships, supporting grants, and providing administrative assistance to the Development Director and Executive Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute fundraising events, including logistics, vendor coordination, volunteer management, and expense tracking.
- Support annual fundraising initiatives, donor cultivation, sponsorships, grant writing, and capital campaign activities.
- Maintain donor records, process donations and acknowledgments, and coordinate donor communications.
- Recruit, train, schedule, and recognize volunteers while maintaining volunteer records and policies.
- Provide administrative support, including calendar management, meeting coordination, recordkeeping, and purchasing supplies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in fundraising, event planning, donor relations, or nonprofit work (if no degree).
- Strong communication, organization, multitasking, and time management skills.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace; experience with Network for Good and Greater Giving is a plus.
- Valid New Mexico driver's license and current auto insurance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with grant writing, capital campaigns, or donor stewardship.
- Familiarity with disability advocacy or social services.
- Strong relationship-building skills with donors, volunteers, and community partners.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings/weekends and ability to lift up to 25 pounds for event setup.
