Pediatric Home Healthcare Nurse (RN)

4Ward Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Home Healthcare Nurse (RN) to provide skilled, one-on-one care to medically fragile children in the comfort of their homes. Many of our patients require tracheostomy and ventilator care, so experience or willingness to be trained in these advanced skills is essential.

Position Overview
The RN will deliver individualized skilled nursing care to pediatric patients with complex medical needs, including those requiring trach and ventilator support. You will work closely with families and the healthcare team to ensure each child receives safe, high-quality, and compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in the home setting
- Deliver comprehensive tracheostomy and ventilator care and management
- Administer medications, treatments, and physician-ordered therapies
- Monitor and assess vital signs, respiratory status, and overall patient progress
- Perform skilled procedures as needed, including:
- Tracheostomy care and suctioning
- Ventilator management and troubleshooting
- G-tube care
- Airway management
- Wound care
- Educate and support families regarding care plans, respiratory equipment, and emergency protocols
- Accurately document care in compliance with Georgia regulations and agency policies
- Communicate effectively with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
- Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing home environment
Qualifications
- Active Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience with trach and ventilator-dependent pediatric patients preferred (training provided)
- Pediatric or home health experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and independent decision-making skills
- Compassionate, dependable, and committed to excellence in pediatric care
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36.0 – 48.0 per week
