Our housekeeping team is the foundation of that experience. Before a guest enjoys a meal, attends an event, or relaxes in one of our spaces, they experience the quality of their room. Position Summary
The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, and overall condition of guest rooms and public spaces throughout the property.
This role goes beyond cleaning. Every room should feel welcoming, thoughtfully prepared, and ready to create a memorable first impression. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work, notice the smallest details, and understand that consistency creates trust with every guest.
ResponsibilitiesGuest Rooms
- Clean and prepare guest rooms to Otis brand standards
- Make beds and replace linens and towels
- Clean bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas
- Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize all assigned spaces
- Restock guest amenities and supplies
- Inspect rooms to ensure every detail meets quality expectations
- Report maintenance concerns promptly
Public Spaces
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the lobby, hallways, stairwells, and common areas
- Assist with outdoor guest areas as needed
- Ensure housekeeping storage areas remain organized and stocked
- Support seasonal deep cleaning projects
Team Responsibilities
- Work efficiently while maintaining exceptional quality
- Communicate room status with the Front Desk
- Assist teammates during busy periods
- Follow all health and safety procedures
- Help create a positive and collaborative work environment
Qualifications
- Housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred, but not required
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and dependable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and remain active throughout the shift
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
