Vigilant Healthcare Solutions is seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a long-term locum/travel contract opportunity in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced CRNAs and Nurse Anesthetists looking to work in a high-acuity clinical environment alongside leading surgical and anesthesia teams across a variety of specialties.
CRNA Responsibilities
- Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care across multiple surgical specialties
- Conduct pre-operative patient assessments and develop individualized anesthetic plans
- Monitor patient vitals and hemodynamic status throughout surgical procedures
- Manage emergence from anesthesia and coordinate post-op recovery handoffs
- Provide occasional in-house and night coverage as operationally needed
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with facility standards
CRNA Requirements
- Current CRNA certification (NBCRNA) in good standing
- Active New Mexico state licensure or ability to obtain prior to start
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2+ years of clinical anesthesia experience across varied surgical cases
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary OR team
- Flexible and adaptable to occasional evening/night coverage needs
Schedule
- Locum/Travel
- Monday – Thursday: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Occasional in-house/night coverage as needed
