Role
Reporting to the Manager of Client Service, the Client Service Manager (CSM) is an individual contributor responsible for delivering a seamless, responsive, and frictionless client experience. This role serves as the operational and service execution lead for client relationships, ensuring consistent, high quality delivery across all aspects of the client lifecycle. The CSM serves as the central coordinator across advisory, planning, and operations teams, driving accountability, managing workflows, and ensuring seamless execution while reinforcing client
confidence through precision and reliability for the assigned advisory team.
Key Responsibilities
Client Service Delivery & Execution
- Own day to day service delivery for assigned client relationships
- Execute client service needs in alignment with financial plans and advisor direction
- Prepare materials, reports, and documentation for client meetings
- Manage account servicing, transactions, and operational requests
- Coordinate risk, wealth, and planning-related activities
- Ensure all service interactions meet compliance and firm standards
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for operational and service-related client need
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive, consistent communication
- Facilitate client requests including paperwork, account changes, transfers, and inquiries
- Provide clear, timely updates on status, next steps, and timeline
- Support onboarding of new clients and ensure a smooth transition into ongoing service
- Role does not provide financial advice or make investment recommendations
- Role does not own strategic planning decisions for client portfolios
Workflow & Process Ownership
- Act as the “air traffic controller” for all pre and post meeting tasks and deliverables
- Track and manage deliverables, deadlines, and open action items
- Ensure follow-through on all client and team commitments
- Gather, organize, and maintain accurate client data and documentation
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and client experience
- Contribute to documentation and standardization of processes
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements
Team Coordination & Operational Leadership
- Coordinate across Financial Planning, Wealth Operations, Risk Operations, and Advisory
teams
- Ensure alignment and timely execution of client-related work
- Anticipate issues and escalate proactively before they impact the client experience
- Reinforce accountability across team members for client deliverables
Qualifications and Experience
5+ years of experience in financial services or wealth management
Required Licensure: Life, Health, Long-Term Care, Series 7, Series 63/66 (during introductory
period)
Strong understanding of client service operations and workflows
Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook), and financial platforms
Experience supporting high-net-worth or complex clients preferred
