Early Evenings 2-10p/Mandatory Weekends 8-3, 3-10-Need people with ALOT of experience working with behaviors with youth
Empowerment Life Services, LLC group homes is looking for responsible adults desiring opportunities to help with the physical, emotional, educational and spiritual needs of foster kids, ages 10-17 years old in a youth group home. The children may have behavioral/mental health issues due to their background of abuse and/or neglect and the goal is to provide a safe and healthy environment.
Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications
- Teach youth life skills
- Meal preparation-with youth assistance
- Paper work/documentation
- Redirect and de-escalate client behaviors
- Transport in company van
- Cleanliness and upkeep of the home
- Ability to hand stressful situations
- Can multi-task
Minimum Qualifications:
- MUST PASS DRUG TEST
- Lived in AZ for the past 5 years
- 21+ years or older
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Must possess Fingerprint Clearance Card
- 1 year experience working with youth
- CPR/First Aid Certified
- Valid drivers license, NO DUI, minimal offenses
- Pass pre-employment physical and physical abilities test
- Will need TB test
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
