Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Spa Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have a relaxing and enjoyable experience at our spa. This position requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with both guests and staff. As a Spa Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the spa facilities, assisting with retail sales, and providing support to the spa team.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with information about spa services and amenities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all spa areas, including treatment rooms, relaxation areas, and retail spaces.
- Assist in retail sales by promoting products and services to guests, utilizing effective communication skills.
- Operate the POS system for processing transactions accurately, including cash handling and managing the cash register.
- Ensure all supplies are stocked and available for use, including towels, robes, and spa products.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any concerns promptly.
- Supervise the overall environment of the spa to ensure a tranquil atmosphere is maintained at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for processing transactions accurately.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
- Ability to handle cash transactions responsibly and accurately.
- Experience in a grocery store or similar retail environment is a plus but not required.
- A positive attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding service in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
