Cabinet Vision Drafter / Engineer
Pay: $75,000 – $85,000 per year, based on experience. Salaried
Schedule: Monday – Friday, days.
Job Type: Full-time, in person (remote if needed)

F1 Cabinets & Furniture is a high-end custom cabinetry and fine furniture shop in Phoenix. We build custom kitchens, furniture, closets, and more much more for our high-end customers.
Our work is highly custom and focused on precision, craftsmanship, and clean execution.
We're investing heavily in systems right now: standardizing our systems and operations, building a kit-based approach to repeatable custom work, and developing an in-house ERP. We want a drafter who also wants to help build that out, not just push jobs through.
The role
You'll engineer and draft our custom projects from start to finish. You'll take architectural plans, designer drawings, and field measurements and configure them into readable, shop drawings and CNC-ready outputs. You'll work directly with ownership, the shop foreman, and the shop itself.
Responsibilities
- Engineer and draft custom cabinetry, closets, and millwork in Cabinet Vision
- Produce shop drawings, and cut lists for the CNC
- Maintain and grow our Cabinet Vision library (UCS's, material/construction schedules, door schedules, standards, etc.)
- Review designer drawings/plans and produce client and production-ready drawings.
- Coordinate with the foreman, assembly lead, and installers to catch constructability issues before they hit the floor
Required
- 2+ years drafting and engineering in Cabinet Vision
- 2+ years in wood manufacturing or custom cabinetry/millwork
- Can read architectural plans and specs
- Detail-oriented and able to juggle multiple jobs against deadlines
- Solid communication, written and verbal
Preferably
- Hands-on cabinet assembly or installation experience. A drafter who knows how it gets built and installed draws better than one who doesn't, and it's not close.
- UCS-knowledge in Cabinet Vision
- SQL or database experience. CV uses SQL for data and we'd love a drafter who can work with it directly/have knowledge of it.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
