Job Summary
Trammell Bell is seeking an organized, driven, and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our commercial electrical team. This position is ideal for someone with field experience or project coordination experience who is looking to grow into a Project Manager role.
You'll work alongside experienced Project Managers to help deliver high-quality commercial electrical projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers with managing multiple commercial electrical construction projects
- Prepare and track submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation
- Coordinate material procurement and deliveries
- Communicate with customers, general contractors, vendors, and field personnel
- Track project schedules and milestones
- Monitor project costs and assist with budgeting
- Attend project meetings and maintain meeting minutes
- Help prepare monthly billings and project forecasts
- Maintain organized project files and documentation
- Support closeout activities including O&M manuals, as-builts, and warranty documents
- Assist with estimating and preconstruction activities as needed
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in commercial electrical construction preferred
- Experience as an electrical foreman, superintendent, estimator, project coordinator, or assistant PM is a plus
- Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems and construction practices
- Ability to read blueprints and specifications
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Experience with Bluebeam, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Accubid, or similar construction software is preferred
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities
- Valid driver's license

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
