Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of nursing operations
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure coordinated patient care
- Monitor and assess patient outcomes, implementing quality improvement initiatives as needed
- Manage the budget for the nursing department, including staffing and supply needs
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in nursing administration
Experience:
- Associates degree in Nursing or related field required
- Current RN license in good standing in GA/SC
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing administration or a similar leadership role
- Knowledge of assisted living, Medicare, and acute care regulations and requirements
- Proven ability to effectively supervise and manage a team of nursing professionals
- Experience with electronic medical records systems and other healthcare technology platforms
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
