A Production Assistant in the Packaging Department contributes directly to the smooth operation of the production line, helps us meet customer demand and maintains high standards of quality by ensuring the efficient and accurate packaging of our products. This is a part-time position including weekend days.
Key responsibilities include
- Packages finished products according to established guidelines and procedures.

Provides support to the production team by preparing materials and equipment.

Performs quality checks on packaged items to ensure they meet company standards.

Manages inventory of packaging supplies and reports any shortages.

Maintains a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.

Collaborates with team members to achieve production goals.

Adheres to all safety protocols and guidelines.

Communicates effectively with supervisors and colleagues regarding production status and any issues that arise.
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail.

Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing.

Possesses good time management skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks.

Experience with quality control procedures (preferred, not required)

Experience with packaging equipment (preferred, not required)

Requires extended periods of standing.

Works in a production environment with moderate noise levels and varying temperatures.

Available to work either Friday - Sunday or Saturday - Monday 6am-2:30pm.
