Direct Hire | CVOR Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift: Days | No Routine Weekends
We are seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) to join a highly specialized cardiovascular surgical team. This opportunity is ideal for nurses with cardiovascular operating room experience who thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment and are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care for cardiovascular surgical patients
- Maintain and monitor sterile technique throughout surgical procedures
- Assess and prepare patients prior to surgery
- Participate in surgical time-outs and ensure compliance with patient safety protocols
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and surgical staff
- Serve as a clinical resource and support a positive team environment
- Deliver high-quality patient-centered care while adhering to clinical and regulatory standards
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
- Active Texas RN License or Multi-State Compact RN License
- Current BLS and ACLS Certifications
- Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience as a licensed RN in an acute care setting
- Experience in CVOR, Operating Room, Surgical Services, and Cardiovascular Surgery
Preferred:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- CNOR Certification
Alternative Experience Consideration:
- Experienced Operating Room Nurses with 10+ years of OR experience may be considered for CVOR cross-training
Schedule & Call Requirements:
- Day Shift Position
- Operating Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
