Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Automotive Technician - B to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks on vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Your expertise will help us uphold our high standards of automotive service, especially in diagnosing complex issues and executing repairs with precision.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Diagnose automotive electrical systems, powertrain issues, transmissions, and diesel engine problems using schematics and diagnostic tools
- Conduct advanced repairs on ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and perform wheel alignments to ensure optimal vehicle performance
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive repair techniques to complete repairs efficiently
- Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic data to identify root causes of vehicle issues
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and communicate findings clearly to customers
- Support vehicle maintenance for Hyundai vehicles and other makes with mechanical knowledge and service expertise
Experience
- Dealership experience or prior service technician experience preferred
- Strong background in automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, powertrain, transmissions, and diesel engine repair
- Familiarity with ADAS technology, wheel alignment procedures, and automotive electrical systems is highly desirable
- Proficiency with auto estimating software and customer service skills are a plus
- Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance, mechanical repairs, welding, and the use of various hand tools and power tools
- Knowledge of vehicles or similar brands is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
