About the Role
Waste Universe is looking for a driven, self-motivated sales professional to grow our roll-off dumpster and waste pickup service business. If you're someone who thrives on building relationships and closing deals, this is for you.
You'll be selling directly to contractors, construction companies, property managers, and local businesses that need roll-off dumpster rentals and ongoing commercial waste removal service.
What You'll Do
- Prospect and generate new business through in-person visits, cold calls, and networking with contractors, job sites, local businesses, and door to door sales.
- Build and manage relationships with construction companies, general contractors, commercial accounts, and residential
- Present and sell our roll-off dumpster rentals to businesses that are currently using a competitor, sell recurring commercial dumpster, and waste service contracts
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms within company guidelines
- Maintain a pipeline of leads (supplied by the company) and follow up consistently to close new accounts
- Represent Waste Universe professionally in the field
- Report on sales activity and account status
What We're Looking For
- Proven outside sales experience (waste industry or B2B services a plus, but not required)
- Comfortable working on 100% commission with no salary/base
- Strong self-starter who can manage their own schedule and territory
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Reliable transportation for local travel to job sites and business visits
- Ability to build relationships with contractors and business owners
- Valid driver's license
Compensation
- UNCAPPED earning potential
- Full commission paid immediately on new accounts
- Expected earnings between $60-120k yearly
Location
- Based out of our Harvard, MA office
- In-person, field-based role covering the surrounding service area
