Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic IV/Med Spa Nurse to join our dynamic team, delivering exceptional aesthetic and medical spa treatments in a vibrant, patient-centered environment. As an integral part of our healthcare team, you will provide advanced nursing care, administer IV infusions, and perform specialized procedures such as Botox, dermal fillers, and other non-invasive treatments. Your expertise will help clients achieve their beauty and wellness goals while ensuring safety, comfort, and satisfaction at every step. Duties
- Administer IV infusions, injections, and medications with precision and adherence to safety protocols
- Perform aesthetic procedures including Botox, dermal fillers, chemical peels, and other skin rejuvenation treatments
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and physiology evaluation to determine treatment suitability
- Educate clients on treatment options, post-care instructions, and potential side effects to ensure informed decision-making
- Maintain accurate medical documentation within EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Epic or Athenahealth
- Monitor patient responses during procedures, manage any adverse reactions promptly, and provide emergency care if necessary
- Uphold infection control standards through aseptic technique and sterile processing practices to ensure a safe environment for all patients
Requirements
- Valid nursing license (RN or LPN) with current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Proven experience in IV insertion and infusion therapy within a clinical setting
- Prior medical office experience with familiarity in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner is highly preferred
- Strong background in critical care areas such as ICU, emergency medicine, or hospital medicine; experience in outpatient or aesthetic clinics is advantageous
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques relevant to aesthetic nursing practices
- Experience working with diverse patient populations including seniors, individuals with disabilities or developmental conditions, Alzheimer’s disease care or memory care is a plus
- Excellent patient assessment skills combined with the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism
