Join our dynamic fitness team as a HITT (High-Intensity Interval Training) Fitness Instructor and ignite the passion for health and wellness in our community! Responsibilities
- Lead energetic HITT classes incorporating diverse training modalities such as kickboxing, cycling, Pilates, yoga, and sports coaching to ensure varied and effective workouts.
- Design innovative workout programs tailored to different fitness levels, emphasizing proper body mechanics, anatomy knowledge, and physiology principles.
- Teach proper techniques for exercises involving body mechanics and anatomy to maximize safety and effectiveness during group sessions.
- Motivate participants through clear instructions, positive reinforcement, and energetic delivery to promote engagement and progress.
- Maintain a safe workout environment by monitoring participants’ form and providing modifications as needed.
- Promote the gym’s fitness programs and services to encourage member participation and support fitness sales initiatives.
- Stay current with industry trends in group fitness, CrossFit, personal training, yoga, dancing, and health club practices to continually enhance class offerings.
Requirements
- Proven experience in group fitness instruction with a focus on high-intensity training methods such as CrossFit or HIIT workouts.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, body mechanics, and program design to create safe and effective classes.
- Certifications or demonstrated expertise in kickboxing, cycling, Pilates, yoga, sports coaching or related disciplines are highly desirable.
- Excellent teaching skills with the ability to motivate diverse groups of participants of all fitness levels.
- Ability to communicate clearly and provide detailed instructions on exercise techniques and safety precautions.
- Passion for health and fitness with a proactive attitude toward continuous learning and professional development.
