We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CDL B Driver/Mechanic to join our team in Lexington, SC. This role combines the responsibilities of operating various vehicles safely and efficiently with performing comprehensive mechanical repairs and maintenance on a wide range of equipment.
The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with automotive and heavy equipment repair, and excellent customer service skills.
Hours: 6a-3p
Pay: $25
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles, including trucks and specialized equipment, adhering to all safety protocols and traffic regulations.
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on vehicles, generators, and heavy machinery.
- Prepare and deliver new equipment to customers
- Making sure units are ready and clean for customers
- Maintain detailed records of service work performed, parts used, and repairs completed for each vehicle or piece of equipment.
- Assist in sales activities by providing technical advice on equipment features and maintenance needs to customers.
- Support heavy lifting operations safely using appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a mechanic or technician
- Shop experience-preferably with hydraulic and electrical experience
- CDL B with clean MVR
- Strong background in automotive repair, including service technician skills related to vehicle diagnostics and repair.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during repairs.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
