Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues efficiently.
- Repair and maintain various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspension, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components.
- Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle maintenance to uphold safety standards and extend vehicle lifespan.
- Work with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical devices to execute repairs accurately and safely.
- Utilize dealership experience and auto estimating skills to provide transparent assessments and communicate repair needs clearly to customers.
- Follow manufacturer specifications and schematics meticulously while adhering to safety protocols during all repair procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a strong background in automotive service and mechanical systems repair.
- Demonstrated dealership experience or similar environment preferred; familiarity with Domestic and Foreign
- Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, transmissions, diesel engine repair, and suspension system repair.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive electrical testing devices.
- Knowledge of automotive schematics and ability to interpret technical manuals accurately.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills to explain repairs clearly and professionally.
- Valid mechanic certification or relevant technical training; ASE certification is advantageous.
