American Traveler is hiring a travel RN - Case Manager for a 13-week assignment requiring at least 1-2 years of case management experience and an Idaho or Compact RN license.

Case Management unit within a hospital setting
-
Handles medical necessity review, discharge planning, and utilization review
-
Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)

13-week contract

Active Idaho (ID) or Compact RN license required
-
1-2 years of case management experience required
-
BLS certification required
-
Epic EMR experience preferred

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Responsibilities include identifying and communicating changes in the patient's plan of care to the healthcare team

Maintains knowledge of community resources and manages the referral process
-
Utilizes length-of-stay (LOS) data to anticipate patient needs and facilitate timely transitions to alternative levels of care

Documents initial screenings and discharge plans consistently and in a timely manner in the patient record

Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler

No travel pairs or groups accepted

RTO is limited to no more than 3 days and no RTO will be approved during the first week of orientation
