The district has continuous recruitment for substitute bus aides.
GENERAL DUTIES:
- Assist children on and off bus
- Be able to operate special equipment on the bus
- Assist bus driver when backing.
- Assist bus driver during emergencies
- Deliver students to and from bus
Job Qualifications
- Good knowledge of the bus route and stops
- Dependability
- Ability to deal effectively with children
- Good physical condition
- Attendance at any New York State mandated courses
- Some knowledge of first aid
