Overview
Seeking a Quality Engineer to manage PPAP activities and ensure quality requirements are met for new products, engineering changes, and supplier components before production.
Responsibilities
- Lead PPAP submissions and maintain required documentation.
- Review supplier PPAP packages and engineering drawings.
- Coordinate first article inspections and measurement activities.
- Support APQP, audits, and quality investigations.
- Resolve quality issues using 8D, 5 Whys, and other quality tools.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and suppliers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology.
- 3+ years of manufacturing quality experience.
- Experience with PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, and capability studies.
- Strong GD&T, blueprint reading, and measurement system knowledge.
- Familiarity with machining, molding, stamping, assembly, and electrical components.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong communication and organizational skills.
