- Responsible for the fabrication, lay out, position, alignment, and fitting of metal products per customer requirements.
- Interpret and work from complex drawings, blueprints, and customer specifications.
- Use a large variety of tools including but not limited to, MIG/TIG welders, Spot Welder, PEM Press, Bridgeport vertical mill, Plate Roller, Tubing Bender, Pipe Coper, Glass Bead Booth, small blast cabinets, turn tables, etc.
- Responsible to determine what welding process needs to be done and the proper tooling required.
- Identify non-conformances during inspection of component parts and properly document such non-conformances. Perform inspection of incoming parts and self-inspection of completed parts.
- Notifying supervisor when work received does not meet the specifications required by previous fabricators.
- Record an accurate log of job times and specifications for audit reports. Will maintain clean equipment/tools and work area.
- Use of fork trucks and overhead cranes.
- All department and company policies.
- Perform other jobs assigned by management.
