White's Bakery in Brockton is looking for an experienced Bread Baker to join out team. White's Bakery is a family owned bakery and cafe that has been in business nearly 40 years and is known for our large array of products. We make everything from custom occasion cakes and pastries to lunch items and catering items daily.
Candidates must have multiple years of experience making sourdough bread and consider themselves self-sufficient and able to manage and produce all of the bread for our two locations (during busy times of the week and year our other Baker's pitch in to help with bread production).
Responsibilities of the position include:
- scaling and mixing doughs
- shaping doughs
- baking (shared duty with other Bakers)
- new recipe testing and development
- the ability to coordinate their own production schedule and manage weekly orders
- taking ownership of our bread department and ensuring that it is properly cleaned, sanitized and organized at all times
Knowledge of other aspects of baking is also a big plus- laminated doughs, etc.
Final salary will fall somewhere within the listed range and is based on experience.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
