Job Title: Office Assistant / Tax Preparer (Bilingual Preferred)
Job Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and organized Office Assistant / Tax Preparer to join our growing tax and bookkeeping office. This position is ideal for someone with excellent English communication skills (Spanish proficiency is a plus) who is eager to learn and grow. Candidates with a tax preparer license are preferred, but if you do not have one, we will guide you through the process to obtain it. Prior tax or bookkeeping experience is not required, as we provide comprehensive training. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Excel, Word, email management, and general computer skills and enjoy working in a collaborative office environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with tax preparation and bookkeeping tasks.
- Organize office files, schedules, and tasks efficiently.
- Follow up with clients and maintain clear communication.
- Answer phone calls and provide excellent customer service.
- Support clients in completing required paperwork and meeting deadlines.
- Manage emails and ensure timely responses.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming office environment.
Qualifications:
- Excellent English communication skills (Spanish preferred).
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Great organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Friendly and professional demeanor with a customer-focused mindset.
- Desire to learn and improve professionally.
- Tax preparer license preferred, or willingness to obtain one (training and guidance provided).

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
