In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and comfort across guest rooms and public areas. Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, and all surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment
- Perform detailed floor care tasks such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and maintaining cleanliness of hallways and public spaces
- Restock amenities like towels, toiletries, and linens to meet guest needs and hotel standards
- Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas such as lobbies, corridors, elevators, and restrooms to uphold the hotel’s appearance
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure guest safety and property integrity
- Follow established health and safety procedures consistently to promote a safe working environment
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning or custodial roles; hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable but no required
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, including floor care and industrial cleaning methods
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality cleanliness standards
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning tasks throughout shifts
- A positive attitude with strong communication skills and a commitment to providing outstanding guest service
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
