Responsibilities
- Safely operate a variety of trucks including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other commercial vehicles.
- Load and unload freight with precision, ensuring cargo integrity and adherence to safety protocols.
- Drive designated routes efficiently while maintaining compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify mechanical issues or safety concerns.
- Manage delivery schedules to ensure on-time arrivals at multiple destinations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, delivery logs, and vehicle maintenance.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the vehicle type (manual transmission experience preferred).
- Proven truck driving experience, especially with tractor-trailers or similar heavy-duty vehicles.
- Experience operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is highly desirable.
- Ability to load & unload freight manually or with equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and freight handling.
- Strong route planning skills with a focus on efficiency and punctuality.

Pay: $24.25 - $29.20 per hour
