Ideal candidate will have an excellent knowledge of machine mechanics with a logical approach, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. A skilled Electrical technician will be able to easily identify and repair a large selection of mechanical and electrical equipment across the oil and gas industry.
Daily tasks:
To stay current with our equipment while in the shop you will be required to build and repair equipment within our manufacturing facility. Duties will include building electrical panels, running conduit on equipment, installing stainless steel tubing, wiring trailers, installing PLC and Drive software.
Other duties in shop will include troubleshooting, rebuilding, and installation of our equipment and customer equipment. Provide phone support and expertise as needed.
Travel Tasks 25% - 35%
Troubleshoot, commission, and rebuild equipment in the field. Whether our equipment or competitors’ equipment. Electrical and mechanical work as needed. Provided expertise and technical support to clients as needed.
Requirements:
· At least 5 years' experience as an industrial electrician
· Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience
· Experience with AutoCAD software preferred but not necessary
· Knowledge of PLC software and coding languages
· Ability to work with minimal supervision
· Ability to travel when required, up to 35%
· Demonstrate knowledge of electrical codes and standards
· Willing and able to obtain a TWIC card, and pass safety classes required by our customers
· Able to speak English fluently
· Clean Driving Record
Education:
- High school diploma or GED (Required)
The successful candidate will be required to clear a DOT physical including drug screen with a complete background check, after an offer has been extended and prior to being employed.
