Commercial Laundry Production Associate
Job Summary:
We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our Commercial Laundry Team. Employees will be responsible for sorting, washing, drying, folding, packaging, and preparing linens and garments for delivery. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Sort soiled linens, uniforms, towels, and other laundry items.
- Operate commercial washers, dryers, and folding equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect items for stains, damage, or quality concerns.
- Fold, package, and prepare clean laundry for shipment or delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow company safety policies and procedures.
- Meet daily production goals and deadlines.
- Assist with loading and unloading laundry carts as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous laundry, warehouse, manufacturing, or production experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment:
This position is performed in a commercial laundry facility where temperatures may vary, and employees work around industrial laundry equipment.
