Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our brand new facility and dedicated team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support and assistance to individuals and families facing various challenges. This role requires a strong commitment to helping clients navigate their circumstances while fostering their emotional and psychological well-being. The Social Worker will work collaboratively with other professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
Duties
- Conduct assessments to understand clients' needs, strengths, and challenges.
- Provide crisis intervention and management services to clients in distress.
- Offer clinical counseling using evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
- Manage cases by coordinating services and resources for clients.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations to identify mental health conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Administer psychopharmacology as needed in collaboration with medical professionals.
- Maintain accurate records, including coding for insurance purposes and compliance with regulations.
- Advocate for clients' rights and access to necessary services within the community.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss client progress and treatment strategies.
Skills
- Proficient in crisis intervention techniques and crisis management strategies.
- Strong background in clinical counseling practices.
- Knowledge of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) methodologies.
- Experience in case management, ensuring comprehensive support for clients.
- Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations effectively.
- Familiarity with psychopharmacology principles as they relate to mental health treatment.
- Competency in coding for clinical documentation and insurance purposes.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong ability to empathize with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in case documentation and reporting.
